Carolyn Langford Reynolds

Funeral services for Carolyn Langford Reynolds, 80, of Lufkin will be held Friday, February 17, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Richard Owens and Brother Brian Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the Crawford Cemetery.           Mrs. Reynolds was born February 1, 1937 in Nacogdoches, Texas to the late Ella Sue (Lee) and Covey Langford, and died Monday, February 13, 2017 in a local nursing home.           Mrs. Reynolds resided in the Lufkin and Nacogdoches areas most of her life. She was a teacher and taught school for 15 years at Lufkin High School and Centerville Junior High and High School. She was also an instructor at the Lufkin Adult Learning Center. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, cooking, canning, and going to church. She was a member of Timbercreek Church.           Survivors include her daughter, Ronda Harvill of Lufkin; son, James Darrell Reynolds and wife Teresea of Nacogdoches; grandchildren, Renee Dunn and husband James of Hudson, Richard Nash of Huntington, Erin Dickerson of New Mexico, Jonathan Reynolds of Woodville, Steffanie Thompson and husband Marcus of Huntington, Joshua Taylor and wife Joie of Douglass, Casey Lyons and husband Bradley, and Kirby Reynolds, all of Nacogdoches; numerous great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Keith Langford of Lufkin and Joe Langford and wife Charlene of Nacogdoches; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.           She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reagan Reynolds; son, Don Reynolds; brother, Roger Langford; sister, Sharon Johnson; and an infant sister.           Pallbearers will be Jonathan Reynolds, Joey Frederick, Levi Frederick, Bradley Dunn, Brian Kelly, Kenneth Simmons, and Richard Nash.           The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.           Memories and condolences may be added, and live webcasting of the services may be viewed at www.carrowayfuneralhome.com.                    Carroway Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors.
