Charles David Walsh

Charles David Walsh, 57, of Diboll died Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in a local nursing home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Walsh was born March 19, 1959 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Joyce Marie (Minton) and David Walsh. After residing in Florida for many years, he had recently returned to Lufkin. Mr. Walsh was a truck driver and enjoyed riding motorcycles. He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Rachal Walsh of Diboll and Andrew Walsh of Lufkin; daughter, Sara Wheeler of Lufkin; grandchildren, Breannya Walsh, Jordan Walsh, Londen Walsh, and Callie Walsh, all of Diboll; dad, Henry Nofsker of Florida; sisters, Patricia Cleaver and Brenda Walsh, both of Florida; brother, Richard Walsh of Florida; nephew, David Walsh of Florida; nieces, Wendy Cleaver an Dianna Cleaver, both of Florida; and a number of aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen (Tobin) Walsh; mother, Joyce Marie (Minton) Nofsker; and father, David Walsh.
