Richard Calvin Rector

Memorial visitation for Richard Calvin Rector, 49, of Tomball, will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Rector was born January 17, 1968 in Baytown, Texas to Lucy (Clegg) and the late Jerry Rector, and died Monday, January 30, 2017 in Tomball.
Mr. Rector had been in Project Management for Hewlett Packard for 20 years. He loved his kids, golfing, and also enjoyed coaching 4-H shooting sports.

Survivors include his son, Jordan Heath Rector of Austin; daughter, Emily Ann Rector of Tomball; wife, Courtney Rector of Tomball; mother, Lucy Rector of Diboll; grandmother, Pauline Graham of Diboll; brother and sister-in-law, Gary Rector and Sirena Stokes of Diboll; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Rector; and grandparents, Charles and Jeanette Rector.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Woods, Spencer Hubbard, Bo Smith, Steve Dillard, Aaron Graham, Bobby Lee, and Steve Evans.
