Funeral services for Billie J. Willmon, 89, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Jason Sandefer officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Mrs. Willmon was born August 11, 1927 in Angelina County, Texas to the late Missouri Mae (Heaton) and William Charles Allen, and died Sunday, January 22, 2017. Mrs. Willmon had resided in Angelina County all her life. She lived her life to the fullest. There was nothing she couldn't do. She loved to bowl, did all kinds of crafts, loved to play games and loved to fish. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church in Zavalla. Survivors include her son, Mike Willmon of Lufkin; her fur baby, Callie; special nephew, W. A. Dempsey of Lufkin; special nieces, Linda Roach of Lufkin, Pam Wilson of Houston, Carolyn Martin and husband Johnny of Katy; special great-niece Dana Thompson of Lufkin; great-great-nephews, Seth Thompson and wife Hannah, and Zac Thompson, all of Lufkin; great-great-great-nephew, Stoke Thompson of Lufkin; great-nephew, Sam Morehouse and wife Sue Ann of Pollock; great-niece, DeShay Prevatt; great-nephew, Don D. Roach; brother-in-law, Alfred Brown of Lufkin; special caregivers, Velma Van Lieshout of Livingston, Kristina Zuniga of Lufkin, and Shirley Hunt of Lufkin; numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James "Bulldog" Willmon; brothers, Ottis Tucker, DeWitt Allen, Joe Allen; sisters, Jewell Tucker McCall, Ann Allen Watts, Dale Allen Dempsey, Mac Allen Croom, Peggy Allen Fuller, and Jimmie Allen Reynolds. Pallbearers will be Zac Thompson, Seth Thompson, Sam Baker, Sam Morehouse, Lance Dempsey, and Don D. Roach. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
