John Clinton Burnett

Graveside services for John Clinton Burnett, 60, of Ore City will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Narrow Way Cemetery.

Mr. Burnett was born September 30, 1956 in Lufkin, Texas to Norma Jean (Johnson) and Buddy Burnett, and died Sunday, January 1, 2017 in Longview. He was a lifetime resident of Ore City. Mr. Burnett was a welder and enjoyed fishing and playing video games.

Survivors include his mother, Norma Burnett of Ore City; sisters, Connie Wade and husband Darrell of Dallas, Mae McKeating of Gilmer, Ruthie Turner of Ore City, and Nancy Howard and husband Tony Cables of California; nine nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Buddy Burnett; and sister, Karen Simms.
