Billie Sue Brooks

Graveside services for Billie Sue (Allbritton) Brooks,89, of Pollok will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Old Union Cemetery with Brother Rex Crenshaw officiating.

Mrs. Brooks was born April 11, 1927 in Angelina County, Texas to the late Lucille (Hallmark) and Pierce Allbritton, and died Monday, November 28, 2016 in Nacogdoches.

Mrs. Brooks was a lifetime resident of Angelina County. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and she liked country and western music. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Lesley Brooks and Betsey of Lufkin, Charles W. Brooks and Glenda of Beckville, Garland Brooks of Pollok, Arnel “Ernie” Brooks and Ada of Pollok, and Billy Jo Brooks of Pollok; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy Fay Roberts and Jack of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Brooks; and daughter-in-law, Anola Brooks.

Pallbearers will be Tanner Brooks, Bryan Brooks, Roper Brooks, Stacey Brooks, Ricky Gilbert, Casey Brooks.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning at the funeral home.
