Donna Mcclendon Ellington

Graveside services for Donna McClendon Ellington, 61, of Huntington will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Berry Cemetery with Brother Keith Woolf officiating.

Mrs. Ellington was born June 2, 1955 in Baytown, Texas to the late Bobbie June (Byars) and Richard “Buddy” McClendon, and died Saturday, November 19, 2016 in San Augustine.

Mrs. Ellington graduated from Lufkin High School and was a lifetime resident of Angelina County. She had worked for various home healthcare agencies. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Ellington was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of more than 20 years, Robert Ellington of Huntington; sons, Mike Davis and wife April of Apple Springs and Clay Ellington of Huntington; grandchildren, Katie Kae Davis and Max Sawyer Davis, both of Apple Springs; sister, Patty Sowell and husband Vandy of San Augustine; and parents-in-law, E.W. “Peewee” and Naomi Ellington of Lufkin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Kenny Davis.
