Funeral services for Kevin Ray “Kevo” Cook, 23, of Diboll will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Michael Brittain officiating. Interment will follow in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery. Kevin was born August 25, 1993 in Nacogdoches, Texas, and died Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in Diboll. He was a lifetime resident of Diboll. Survivors include his father, Steven Cook and fiancée Dawn Moldenhauer of Lufkin; mother, Tina (Gandy) Day of Houston; sisters, Krystal Cook of Diboll, and Harley Day of Houston; paternal grandmother, Judy Cook of Diboll; aunts, Stephanie “Big Sissy” Cook and Lisa Gandy, both of Lufkin; nieces, Presley Vest and Paisley Cook, both of Lufkin; Kevin thought the world of Kaitlyn, Karson, and Karter; and numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lester Ray Cook; grandmother, Sally Jo Williams; great-grandfather, Barklay Williams; and great-grandmother, Viola Williams. Pallbearers will be Sean Rowin, Dustin Fisher, Bubba Cook, Jimmy Fisher, Jason Cook, Bobby Cook, John Holt, and Caleb Langston. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning prior to the services.
