Yolanda D. Hernandez

Mass of Christian Burial for Yolanda D. Hernandez, 78, of Diboll will be held Monday, November 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Fr. Ariel Cortez officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Hernandez was born February 25, 1938 in Ciudad Anahuac, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to the late Genoveva (Gallegos) and Onofre Davila, and died Friday, November 11, 2016 in a local hospital. Mrs. Hernandez enjoyed gardening, crocheting, playing bingo, and watching telenovelas. She loved her children and grandchildren and was the center of the family. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and had lived in Diboll for 44 years. Survivors include her husband, Jose Luis Hernandez, Sr.; children, Maria and Carlos Alanis, Laura and Rene Villagrana, Luis Arturo and Maritza Hernandez, Yolanda Diosdado, Juan and Blanca Hernandez, Cesar Hernandez, Jose, Jr. and Chaundra Hawthorne, Gabriela and Charles Murphy, all of Diboll; nineteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Maria Renteria, Dora Davila, and Genoveva Gonzalez; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her son, Arturito Hernandez; parents; and brother, Blas Davila. Pallbearers will be Luis Arturo Hernandez, Juan Hernandez, Cesar Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Jr., Brandon McGaughey, Christian Capetillo, Marcos Diosdado, and Dylan Murphy.
