Jean (Havard) Roberts Ferguson

Graveside services for Jean (Havard) Roberts Ferguson, 85, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fairview Cemetery in Nacogdoches with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating.

Mrs. Ferguson was born April 22, 1931 in Angelina County, Texas to the late Mary Gladys (Tarbutton) and John Clifton Havard, and died Thursday, November 3, 2016 in a local nursing home. She had resided in Lufkin most of her life. Mrs. Ferguson was an office manager in the medical field for many years. She was an accomplished pianist and taught many students.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John Kevin and Melissa Roberts of Idaho Falls, Idaho; grandchildren, Michael Roberts and Isabell Roberts; brother and sister-in-law, J.C. and Patsy Havard of Lufkin; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, John Roberts and Bennie Ferguson.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
