Lisa Ren'Ee Gillam

Funeral services for Lisa Ren’ee Gillam, 57, of Zavalla, will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Barry Birch officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Cemetery.

Mrs. Gillam was born August 3, 1959 in New Orleans, Louisiana and died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Gillam was a homemaker and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She loved to fish and enjoyed traveling in her self-made “low rider” camper. The most precious things to her were her grandchildren. She had lived in Zavalla for 15 years, and previously resided in Missouri.

She is survived by her children, Christopher Hollis of Zavalla, Brenda Ramirez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Johnny Brancato, Elizabeth Brancato, Richard Brancato, all of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and Kasey Minter of Zavalla; three grandchildren; parents, Myrtie and Edward Conner of Onalaska; brothers, Michael Farr of Onalaska, Ladd Cravey of Odessa; sister, Theresa Dawson of Red Rock; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mrs. Gillam was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Gillam, and brother, John Wesley Daniel, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Christian, David Glover, Wayne Harper, Billy Mudd, Ryan Havard, and Devan Christian.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
