Betty Sue Blalock

Graveside services for Betty Sue Blalock, 64, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Freeman Cemetery with Brother Keith Bickley officiating.

Mrs. Blalock was born September 30, 1952 in Livingston, Texas, the son of the late Florence Edna (Emsoff) and Mack Olin Loftin. She died Monday, October 10, 2016 in a Lufkin hospital.

Mrs. Blalock was a retired cafeteria worker for Parkwood Place and Hudson I.S.D. She had a very outgoing personality. Mrs. Blalock was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her children, David Blalock, Jamie Blalock, and Jonathan Blalock, all of Lufkin; sisters, Florence Jeannie Seale of Central, Glenda Faye Hillyer of Zavalla, and Patricia Lynn Corcoran of Lufkin; brother, Michael Ray Loftin of Onalaska; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Mrs. Blalock was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Edna May Rice; and brother, Gerald Loftin.
