Funeral services for Gary Wayne Adams, 46, of Huntington, will be held Monday, October 3, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Brother Dave Sarver and Brother Dwayne Greenwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Sims/Rocky Hill Cemetery. Mr. Adams was born July 2, 1970 in Dayton, Texas, the son of Herbert Adams and the late Virginia Faye Merrill Adams. He left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at his residence with his devoted and loving wife, Becky, by his side. Mr. Adams had been the co-owner of Alpha and Omega Pest Control for 13 years. He had lived in the Huntington area since 2006, and lived in Lufkin for six years prior to that. Mr. Adams was a graduate of West Sabine High School and an active member of Brothers Keeper Church. His children were his pride and joy, and he adored his grandchildren. Gary loved his Lord wholeheartedly, was a proud American, and a strong Republican. He was also a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Rebecca “Becky” Adams of Huntington; daughters, Jessica Benefield and son-in-law Zachery of Killeen, Liberty Riddley of Huntington; sons, Justice Adams and Colton Adams, both of Huntington; grandchildren, Parker and Ethan; parents, Herbert and Mary Adams of Kingman, Kansas; siblings and their spouses, Cheryl Pike of Hutchison, Kansas, Cinda and Alan Keeling, Cecil and Noni New, all of Kingman, Kansas, Dawn Adams of Hutchinson, Kansas, Billy and Cassie Adams of Lufkin, and Carolyn and Robert McHaley of Ottawa, Kansas; mother-in-law, Maggie Hudson of Huntington; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mitzi and Jeff Smith of Huntington, Scott and Lisa Hudson of Oklahoma City, Mark and Colette Hudson of Moody, and Doug and Angie Hudson of Livingston; brother and sister-in-law by choice, Dave and Melissa Sarver of Lufkin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Pallbearers will be Billy Adams, Cecil New, Billy Donaldson, David Clark, Eddie Pepper, Hunter Sarver, Jeremy Walton, and Tyler Adams. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
