Mary Lou "Mimi" Gulley

Visitation for Mary Lou “MiMi” Gulley, 51, of Hudson will be held Friday, September 30, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Carroway Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Brother Wayne Rice officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Ms. Gulley was born November 13, 1964 in Lufkin, Texas to Gotha and Shirley (Green) Gulley, and died Monday, September 26, 2016 at her residence. She resided in the Lufkin area most of her life and was the Building Manager at Pine Tree Preschool for 10 years. She enjoyed crafting, especially crocheting and making bows, and loved Coca-Cola. Ms. Gulley loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Lufkin First Assembly.

Survivors include her sons, Christopher Gulley of Hudson and Steven Gulley of Oklahoma; daughter, Kara Gulley of Lufkin; grandsons, Landan Gulley of Oklahoma and Ty’Sean Clay of Lufkin; granddaughter, Demi Gulley of Hudson; mother, Shirley Gulley of Nacogdoches; sisters, Linda Bright, Donna McGhiey and husband Steve, all of Nacogdoches, Dianne Hutchinson and husband Sam of Mansfield, Gail Munoz and husband Alex of Lufkin, and Brenda Williams of Nacogdoches; brothers, Gotha Gulley, Jr. of Lufkin and James Gulley of Lufkin; special niece, Ashley Gulley of Lufkin; sisters/best friends, Charlotta Peebler of Lufkin and Karen Desonier of Louisiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gotha Gulley.
