Dennis Watermann

Dennis Watermann, 66, of Zavalla died Sunday, September 25, 2016 at his residence. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Watermann was born May 8, 1950 in Washington, Missouri to Maurice and Imogene (Elsenrath) Watermann. He received a Bachelors Degree from the Missouri School of Mines and retired from Murphy Oil Corporation where he was an engineer. Mr. Watermann lived in the Texas Airstream Harbor Community and was an avid member of various Airstream organizations. He was of the Catholic Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Mary (Noonan) Watermann of Zavalla; daughters, Taryn Holman and husband Richard Holman, Jr., and Loryn Grace Papania and wife Kelli Sanders, all of Slidell, Louisiana; granddaughter, Grace Holman of Slidell, Louisiana; mother, Jean Watermann of Washington, Missouri; sister, Sharon Pruessner of Marthasville, Missouri; brothers, Gary Watermann of Kansas City, Missouri and Keith Watermann of Commerce, Georgia; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Watermann.
