Graveside services for Scott A. “Buddha” Renfro, 31, of Lufkin will be held Monday, September 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Attoyac Cemetery in San Augustine County with Brother Bennie Boles officiating.
Mr. Renfro was born December 9, 1984 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Friday, September 23, 2016 at his residence. He was a lifetime resident of Lufkin. Mr. Renfro worked security at the Steel Horse Saloon. He loved to fish, shoot guns, and play video games. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his son, Jacob Carson Renfro of Lufkin; parents, Donald and Donna (Knox) Renfro of Broaddus; sisters, Miranda Thompson and Jessica Anderson, both of Corrigan; nephews and nieces, Shane Ballard, Taylor Ballard, Brianna Ballard, Bryce Anderson and Leigha Anderson; grandparents, Delbert Renfro of Huntington and Pat and Dorothy Knox of Broaddus; girlfriend, Julie Lewis of Hudson, and her children Allen Lewis, Madelin Lewis and James Lewis; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Mary Oliver.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Toombs, Matthew Penick, Joseph Norman, Fred Martin III, Hunter Sage, and David Yarbrough.
Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Helton, Charley Barnett and William Cannon.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Monday at Carroway Funeral Home.
