Ardell Mccollum Holeman

Graveside services for Ardell McCollum Holeman, 73, of Diboll, will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Jasper County with Greg Sweet officiating.

Ms. Holeman was born March 7, 1943 in Diboll, Texas to the late Odie (Burns) and Henry McCollum. She died Saturday, September 3, 2016 in a Lufkin hospital.

Ms. Holeman had worked as a sales clerk for Polk Oil Company for 20 years. She was also a homemaker and beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed reading and watching television, and was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Holeman had lived in Diboll most of her life.

Survivors include her son, Daniel Holeman of Diboll; grandchildren and their spouses, Chris Holeman, Danny and Netha Holeman, Starlene Holeman, Shay and Vivian Holeman, and Alyssa Holeman; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Vernell Sweet of Diboll; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Ms. Holeman was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and one sister.
