Faye Nell Teer

Faye Nell Teer, 83, of Lufkin died Saturday, August 27, 2016 in Tyler. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Teer was born August 29, 1932 in Jacksonville, Texas to the late Earnest and Velma (Fullen) Finegan. She resided in Lufkin most of her life and retired from Lufkin Conroe Telephone Exchange following more than 40 years of employment. She was also a beautician and bookkeeper.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Joe Paul and Shay Teer of Tyler; grandsons, Joe Paul Teer, Jr. of Dallas and Grady Teer of Tyler; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thurman Teer; brothers, Ronnie Finegan and Rovel Finegan; and sister, Maxine Finegan.
