Leighton Stella Carter

Funeral services for Leighton Stella Carter, 3 months, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bobby Ryan officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches.

Leighton was born April 27, 2016 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Saturday, August 13, 2016 in a local hospital.

Survivors include her parents, Emily and Steven Carter of Lufkin; siblings, Lillian, Easton, Huntlee, Tylia, and Tinsley, all of Lufkin; grandparents, Steven and Kim Carter, Mark Ives, all of Lufkin, and Keith and Tammy Griggs of Crystal Beach; great-grandparents, Michael Beckler of Lufkin, Lynn Crawford of Diboll, and Elizabeth Pettit of Houston; and number of aunts, uncles and other relatives.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon prior to the services.
