Funeral services for Thaddeus “Thad” Warden, 42, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wes Miller and Pastor Todd Core officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery. Thad was born October 11, 1973 in Tyler, Texas to Teddie Warden and Glenda (Dunn) Warden Salinas, and died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 in Lufkin, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Formerly of Longview, Thad had resided in Lufkin for 10 years. He was employed with Wright Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep in Center. He was an avid, diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. Thad was a member of Harmony Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Paula Warden of Lufkin; son, Jackson Warden of Lufkin; daughter, Landry Kate Warden of Lufkin; mother, Glenda Salinas of Lufkin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ted and Michele Warden of Bullard and Terry and Jennifer Warden of Liberty; parents-in-law, James and Ellen Gaston of Hull; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rodney and Debra Gaston of Tarkington; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Teddie Warden; and grandparents, Jesse Dunn, Vivian Hammack, and Nora Beatrice Vansickle. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
