Ada Melissa Kelley

Graveside services for Ada Melissa Kelley, 67, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Walker Cemetery with Brother Ford Adkins officiating.

Ada was born January 19, 1949 in Lufkin, Texas to the late B.G. Reppond and Laura Frances (Mewborn) Reppond Jeane, and died Saturday, July 30, 2016 in a local hospital.

Ada had resided in Lufkin most of her life, and owned Kelley Trucking for many years. She enjoyed reading, drawing, gardening, and cooking, and was known for her baking. She also enjoyed fishing, particularly at Rollover Pass. Ada was a Christian.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Donald Willis, Brenda and David Tubbs, all of Lufkin, Ruby Frances and Joseph Ener of Nacogdoches, and Laura Reppond of Lufkin; sons and daughter-in-law, Bo and Pam Kelley and Lynn Kelley, all of Lufkin; granddaughters, Melissa Manry of Central, Jessica Willis of Diboll, and Anna Harris of Lufkin; grandsons, Alex Walker of Nacogdoches and Ethan Tubbs of Lufkin; great-granddaughters, Colbie Manry of Central and Allison Walker of Nacogdoches; great-grandsons, Jason Scott and Bentley Kee, both of Diboll; mother, Frances Jeane of Hudson; sister, Mary McDonald of Hudson; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Herbert Lee “Bo” Kelley; brother, Bura Monroe Reppond; and sister, Frances Victoria Bryan.

Pallbearers will be Robert Manry, David Tubbs, Robert Lakey, Jonathan Kee, Alex Walker, Jake Kelley, and Donald Willis.
