Funeral services for Mark Anthony Berry, 56, of Huntington, will be held Monday, July 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Joe Sawyer and Brother Bob Killam officiating. Interment will follow in the Shofner Cemetery.
Mr. Berry was born May 6, 1960 in Lufkin, Texas to E.B. and Norene (Shofner) Berry and died Thursday, July 21, 2016 in Midland, Texas.
Mr. Berry was a lifelong resident of Lufkin/Huntington area. He was employed with Kisatchie Treating Company, LLC, founded by Lufkin Creosoting Company, Inc., for the past 15 years. He enjoyed the outdoors; fishing, hunting and building. He spent his time with family and friends and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Jase Berry of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Jessa and Justin Neyland; father, E.B. Berry; sister, Phyllis Ellington; nephew, Clay Ellington, all of Huntington; numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Pallbearers will be Greg Harrison, David Harrison, Sammy Stewart, Paul Yarbrough, Kevin Green and Travis Nerren.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Thompson, Malcolm Arnold, Slim Glover, Ray and all the truck drivers of Kisatchie Midnight Express.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
