Roberto G. Cabrera

Memorial services for Roberto G. Cabrera, 67, of Lufkin will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Cabrera was born January 6, 1949 in Mexico to Arcadio and Maria Luisa (Garza) Cabrera and died Friday, July 22, 2016 at Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin.

Survivors include his wife, Esperanza Cabrera; daughters, Marina Cabrera and Marisela Delapaz; son, Roberto Cabrera, Jr.; daughters, Patricia Morales, Nora Phillips, Korina Cabrera and Cristina Gonzalez, all of Lufkin; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; mother, Maria Luisa Cabrera of Mission, Texas; other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.
