Memorial services for James “Jim” N. Twohig, 68, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brian Zyblot officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Mr. Twohig was born April 26, 1948 in Houston, Texas to the late Paul and Roberta (Nowlin) Twohig and died Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at his residence in Lufkin. He was the Dean of Students with Angelina College for forty years and enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and loved to travel.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannie Twohig of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Kristi and Joseph Dowdy of Kennard, Stacy and Jeremy English of Richmond, Dani and Zack McQueen and Kacey and Richie Segura, all of Lufkin; six grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Bobbie Twohig; son, Ian Twohig; sister, Mary Wilson.
