Carlton Van Schoubroek

Funeral services for Carlton Van Schoubroek, 49, of Pineland will be held Monday, July 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Ben Walker Cemetery. Mr. Schoubroek was born January 6, 1967 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Henry W. and Wanda Sue (Horton) Schoubroek and died Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. Mr. Schoubroek loved classic movies and old cartoons. His favorite actor was John Wayne and his favorite singer was Elvis. He was a member of the Lala Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Mellisa Schoubroek of Lufkin; sister, Mary Schoubroek of Huntington; nephews, James Schoubroek and his wife Kindle of Nacogdoches and Thomas Glenn of Savanna, Georgia; nieces, Diana Lovelady and Amber Lovelady of Lufkin; great-niece, Raven Lovelady-Denning of Lufkin; numerous other cousins and family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Coleman and Eskie Schoubroek and B.W. and Effie Horton. Pallbearers will be James Schoubroek, Kindle Schoubroek, Diana Lovelady, Amber Lovelady, Adrian Way and Chris Rembert. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
