Donald G. Thornhill

Funeral services for Donald G. Thornhill, 65, of Moscow will be held Friday, July 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Reverend Cary Modisett officiating. Interment will follow in the Feagin Cemetery in the Hortense Community of Polk County.

Mr. Thornhill was born July 11, 1950 in Lufkin, Texas to the late David Aubry and Zenobia Marjorie (Fancher) Thornhill, and died Monday, June 27, 2016 at his residence.

Formerly of Huntington, Mr. Thornhill had resided in Moscow for 16 years. He was employed with Texas Foundries as a quality control supervisor for 21 years. He loved hunting and fishing. Mr. Thornhill was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his granddaughter, Heather Hayes, husband Justin, and their sons Kaden and Brycen of Lufkin; grandson, Sawyre Thornhill of Huntington; brother and sister-in-law, David and Linda Thornhill of Huntington; and the mother of Heather and Sawyre, Stephanie Burnett.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Shannon Thornhill; and wife, Linda (Clamon) Thornhill.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
