Martha A. Jones

Graveside services for Martha A. Jones, 76, of Albuquerque, New Mexico will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Rocky Springs/Old Center Cemetery with her son, Reverend Gary D. Ramey, officiating.

Ms. Jones was born February 23, 1940 in Ewing, Texas to the late Talmadge and Ina Pearl (Laird) Jones, and died Friday, June 17, 2016 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Ms. Jones graduated from Rusk High School in 1958. She had also attended Lufkin High School. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. Ms. Jones enjoyed gardening, painting, Bible study, genealogy, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church Nacogdoches.

Survivors include her son, Rev. Gary D. Ramey; daughters, Kimberly Ramey Rios and Julie Ramey Monde; grandchildren, Scott Ramey, Carla Morgan and Seth Monde; and 10 much loved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Wanda Bass, William T. “Bill” Jones; Kenneth “K.C.” Jones, and Betty Del Bianco.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at Carroway Funeral Home.
