Patsy Lou (Cluff) Hammock

Graveside services for Patsy Lou (Cluff) Hammock, 82, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. in the Berry Cemetery. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, at the funeral home, prior to the graveside service.

Mrs. Hammock was born October 9, 1934 in Peoria, Texas to the late Author Glen Cluff and Elizabeth Josephine (Smith) Cluff and died Friday, June 10, 2016 in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Hammock had resided in Lufkin for over 20 years. She was formerly a Home Economics Teacher for the Rosebud I.S.D. and College Station I.S.D.

Survivors include her sons, Sam Palasota and wife Rhonda of Angleton, Texas, DeWayne Palasota and wife Teresa of Wisconsin, and Mark Hammock and wife Andrea of Oregon; daughter, Pamela K. Myrick of Tyler, Texas; sister, Billie Jones and husband Ward of Livingston, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Hammock.
