L.A. ""Bo" Williford

Funeral services for L.A. “Bo” Williford, 78, of Lufkin will be held Monday, June 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Shane Scroggins officiating. Interment will follow in the Gann Cemetery. Mr. Williford was born January 20, 1938 in Lufkin, Texas to the late W.A. “Shorty” and Lottie (Brock) Williford, and died Saturday, June 4, 2016 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Mr. Williford was a lifetime resident of Lufkin. He worked as a master plumber for Williford Plumbing more than 40 years. He enjoyed his time raising cattle on the Williford Ranch and loved hunting and fishing. Mr. Williford loved his wife dearly, as well as his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was known by many and loved and respected by all. Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Peggy Williford of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Ricky Brock and Sharon and Richard Modisette, all of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Judy Williford of Lufkin and Scott and Crystal Williford of Pollok; grandchildren, Lane Brock, Tiffany Brock, Meagan Leclaire and husband Jayson, Amber Parrott and husband Jeremy, Bo/David Williford, Baylon Williford, Dallas Williford, and Blaze Williford; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Leclaire, Carter Parrott and Avery Leclaire; sisters and brothers-in-law, Laura and Bobby Allison of Pollok and Sadie and Jimmy Allison of Lufkin; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers will be Lane Brock, Bo/David Williford, Baylon Williford, Blaze Williford, Jayson Leclaire, and Jeremy Parrott. Special friends are Kinnon Modisette, Jerry Wayne Patterson, Preston Williford and Gene Gresham. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
