Funeral services for Lorene (Granny) McCoslin, 97, of Corrigan will be held Monday, May 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend M.L. “Bud” Magee and Reverend Michael Ener officiating. Interment will follow in the Damascus Cemetery. Mrs. McCoslin was born April 28, 1919 in Friday, Texas to the late James Evans and Iva (Willmoth) Evans and died Saturday, May 28, 2016 in a local hospital. Mrs. McCoslin had resided in Corrigan for most of her life. She was a homemaker who loved to hunt, fish, and play a good hand of “42”. Mrs. McCoslin was a member of the First Baptist Church of Corrigan. Survivors include her daughter, Belinda Ener of Corrigan; grandson, Michael Ener with his wife Sarai of Lufkin; granddaughter, Angela Conarroe and her husband Lee of Corrigan; great-grandchildren, Holly and Tim Davis, Hannah Ener, Alyssa Ener, Courtney and Andrew Cain, Shelby Conarroe and Kaylee Conarroe; great-great-grandchildren, Jace Davis and McKynlee Cain; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, L.B. “Mack” McCoslin; three brothers and four sisters. Pallbearers will be Reverend Michael Ener, Lee Conarroe, Tim Davis, Hector Lopez, Ryan Burton and Kasey Glover. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Fuller, Charles Fuller, Don Fuller, Jerry Fuller, Pee Wee Smith and Charles Elkins. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Corrigan Youth Fund, 103 N. Collins Street, Corrigan, Texas 75939. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday morning, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
