Judith A. "Judy" Adams

Graveside services for Judith A. (Judy) Adams ,74, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the Largent Cemetery with Rev. Randall K. Green officiating.

Mrs. Adams was born on April 26, 1942 in Oakland, California to the late Chester Barton Peacock and Esther Pommer Peacock and died Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in Lufkin.

Judy, formerly of Lake Tahoe, California, had resided in Lufkin for 26 years. She was a homemaker who loved her kids and grandkids. Judy loved playing cards with Marilyn and Laura. She was a member of Christ Congregational Church.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Jeff Whitfield of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Kristy Adams of Lufkin; grandchildren, Jacquelyn Whitfield, Trevor Whitfield, Abby Adams and Ashlyn Adams; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Mary Peacock of Hartford, Wisconsin; step-sons and spouses, Randy and Barbara Adams of Houston, Jeff and Norreen Adams of Houston; step-grandchildren, Bethany Adams, Laura Moreno, Hope Adams, Grace Adams and Rebecca Adams; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Jerry Adams.
