Stephanie Suzanne Kimling Davis

Funeral services for Stephanie Suzanne Kimling Davis, 46, of Bossier City, Louisiana will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Lufkin First Assembly with Pastor Michael Norman officiating.
Private interment will follow in the Sand Flat Cemetery.

Stephanie was born April 14, 1970 in Lufkin, Texas to Michael and Carolyn Kimling and died Saturday, May 14, 2016 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Stephanie had resided in Lufkin for 36 years before moving to Ft. Worth for two years, then to Louisiana for the past five years. She was self-employed for over 20 years as a Professional Photographer. Taking photos was just one of her passions. She was a woman of strong faith, whose guidance influenced many people and whose laughter brightened the world for all who knew her. Her husband and daughter were the lights of her life. She loved her dogs as if they were part of the family and cherished every minute she could spend at the beach. Stephanie was a long time member of Lufkin First Assembly.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Chris Davis; daughter, Kate Davis both of Bossier City, Louisiana; brother, David Kimling and wife Amy Sanford of Nacogdoches; parents, Michael and Carolyn Kimling of Pollok; numerous aunts, uncles, and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, M.C. and Ruby Hanks; grandfather, Clarence Kimling; grandmother, Lyndall Kimling.

Pallbearers will be Brandon White, Jeff Mott, Scott Hanks, Keith Hanks, and Charles Hanks.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Hanks and Dwayne Hanks.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sand Flat Cemetery, 4450 W. State Highway 7, Pollok, Texas 75969.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
