Walter Keith Griggs

Graveside services for Walter Keith Griggs, 54, of Huntington, formerly of Lufkin, will be held Sunday, May 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Glendale Cemetery with Dr. Darryl Smith officiating.

Keith was born May 23, 1961 in La Porte, Texas to the late Walter Murph and Judy (Johnson) Griggs. He passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 as a result of a hit-and-run accident in Huntington.

Keith loved country music, Elvis, old western movies, and animals, especially dogs. He was known about the area for his “walking”. He was independent and lived a very humble life.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Hunter Boston; and very special uncle and aunt, Tip and Louise Brashear.

Keith is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Sherine Boston of Lufkin; nephews, Christopher Powell, Clay Boston and wife Jayme, Casey Boston and Cade Boston; niece, Kenna Boston; aunts, LaVelle Griggs of Garland and Billie Griggs Allen and husband Travis of Orange; and a host of cousins, friends and acquaintances.
