Diona "Pat" Wilkerson

Funeral services for Diona “Pat” Wilkerson, 78, of Groveton will be held Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Wesley Reynolds, Pat’s nephew, officiating. Interment will follow in the Crawford Cemetery.

Pat was born March 19, 1938 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Riley Medford Reynolds and Virgie Ettamae Singleton and died Friday, April 1, 2016 at her residence in Groveton, surrounded by her family.

Pat was a very active and giving person. She especially enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. Pat was a generous person who helped those in need – friends, family, and strangers alike. She was most recently employed at Angelina Home Health where her clients became cherished friends. Pat was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Melanie Watson of Groveton; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Jerry Carr of Pollok; grandchildren, Marla Villaneuva and husband Junior, Douglas Watson and wife Billie, Amanda Carr, Trace Watson, Kelly Carr, Mary Watson, Jason Carr, Bart Carr, and Casey Carr; great-grandchildren, Logan, Brayden, Anthony, Hannah, Jacob, Savannah, Lucia, Lillie, Amber, Katie, Madeline, and Colt; sister, Carolyn Simmons and husband Michael; brothers, Perry Reynolds and wife Rita and Virgil Reynolds and wife Kim; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Riley, Howard, Bill, Reagan, Vernon, and Louie Reynolds.

Pallbearers will be Douglas Watson, Trace Watson, Junior Villaneuva, Kyle Reynolds, Ryan Reynolds, and Jared Reynolds.

Honorary pallbearers will be Delbert Reynolds, Larry Rogers, Jason Carr, Buddy Baker, and Grover Ashworth.
