Sheila Zeigler Sprague

Funeral services for Sheila Zeigler Sprague, 59, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Zavalla Cemetery.

Ms. Sprague was born February 13, 1957 in Kaufman, Texas and died Monday, March 14, 2016 in a local hospital.

Ms. Sprague resided in the Lufkin area most of her life. She was employed with the United States Forest Service as a Planning Specialist for 27 years. She loved her family and enjoyed being a mother. She was a member of the Carpenters Way Church.

Survivors include her parents, John and Jerry (Montgomery) Zeigler of Huntington; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Kim Roberts of Monroe, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Cara and Nathan Pegram of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Jared and Kari Sprague of Spring; 2 grandchildren; numerous close aunts and cousins; also close friends from the U.S. Forest Service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
