Graveside services for Earlene Redd Todd, 88, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Whitehouse Cemetery with Reverend Harold Seago officiating.
Mrs. Todd was born August 10, 1927 in Lufkin to the late Toll Edward and Isabel (McAdams) Redd and died Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Todd was a lifelong resident of Lufkin. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. The most important thing to Mrs. Todd was her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She loved life itself and was never one to complain. She loved her dance group, loved to dance and enjoyed shopping.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Davy Swan and Susie and John Freeman all of Lufkin; sons, Mike Todd and Robert Todd both of Lufkin; 7 grandchildren, Todd Swan, Laura Ramirez, Matt Todd, Lindsey Lee, Anna Dean, Meredyth Byrd, and Lauren Loefler; brother and sister-in-law, Vernon and Elsie Redd of Tyler; sister-in-law, Lottie Redd of Lufkin; also numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert Charles Todd and a number of brothers and sisters.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
