Peggy L. (Watson) Bonney

Funeral services for Peggy L. (Watson) Bonney, 76, of Centralia will be held Monday, February 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Centralia Church of Christ with Keith Jones and Bill Reeves officiating. Interment will follow in the Johnson-Tullos Cemetery.

Peggy was born February 24, 1939 in the Centralia Community of Trinity County, Texas to the late Bailey and Vyma (McClain) Watson, and died Friday, February 12, 2016 in a local hospice facility. She was a lifetime resident of Centralia and retired from Angelina Radiology & Associates where she was a bookkeeper for 23 years. She enjoyed painting and cooking, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Peggy was a member of the Centralia Church of Christ.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Peggy Bonney of Centralia; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Greg Campbell and Stacey and Curtis Musick, all of Centralia; grandchildren and their spouses, Curtis and Andrea Musick, Shawna and Dennie Smith III, Kyle and Tara Campbell, Corey and Toyann Musick, Jessica Bonney and Rachel Bonney; great-grandchildren, McKenzie Musick, Drew Musick, Kailey Smith, Brandon Smith, Jenna Smith, Hunter Smith, Taylor Musick, Cooper Campbell and Jagger Musick; sisters, Vesta Tarrant of Shepherd and Betty Keeshan of Houston; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William “Bill” Bonney; sisters, Shirley Yates and Meb Strong; and brother, Phillip Watson.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Campbell, Corey Musick, Omer Brister, David Hildebrand, Coy Minshew and Joe Bob Tullos.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
