Frank Sanchez Juarez

Funeral services for Frank Sanchez Juarez, 78, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ty Phillips and Richard Joseph officiating. Interment will follow in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Juarez was born June 4, 1937 in Gonzales, Texas to the late Bruno Bonilla and Lucy Sanchez Juarez and died Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at his residence in Lufkin. Mr. Juarez resided in Lufkin for the past 46 years. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was Postmaster for a total of 42 years, including Apple Springs from 1979-1982, Corrigan from 1982-1993, and Diboll from 1993-2000. Mr. Juarez was the past president of the Lancewood Water Supply, a volunteer for the Hudson Fire Department, and on the CCA Board of the Diboll Correctional Center. He loved to dance and spend time with his family. He was an avid birdwatcher and a collector of stamps, coins, and elephants. Mr. Juarez was of the Catholic Faith. Survivors include his wife, Dolores Juarez of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Conrad and Pamela Amaya Juarez; grandson, Jacob Michael Juarez; grandson and spouse, Jonah Conrad and Heather D. Juarez and their children, JaeLynne and J’ace; grandson and spouse, Jesse Matthew Juarez and Jessica Pawlowski and their children, Kalieah and Kalysa; grandsons, Jeremy Abram Juarez, Judah Elijah Juarez, and Jordan Zachary Juarez; brother and sister-in-law, Gregory and Rosa Juarez of Houston; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Frank Juarez, Jr. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
