Funeral services for Margie Gray, 73, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Dwayne Calvert and Pastor Al Ross officiating. Interment will follow in the Bodan Cemetery. Mrs. Gray was born January 15, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Dumas Anderson and Hazel Lilly (Murray) Anderson and died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 in Lufkin. Mrs. Gray, formerly of Hartsville, Tennessee had resided in Lufkin for over 45 years. She was self-employed. She was a good seamstress, loved life, and especially loved her family. Mrs. Gray was a member of the Calvary Chapel Church. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Linda Gray of Lufkin; sons, Curtis Gray and Tracy Gray both of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jennifer Gray of Pollok; grandchildren, Randy Gray, Kurtis Gray, Jonathan Gray, and Haley Gray; great-grandchildren, Cameron Gray, Jacob Gray, and Zayleigh Gray; step-great-grandchild, Alysa; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alvie and Patricia Anderson and Anthony and Cynthia Anderson all of Hartsville, Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Stella Anderson of Hartsville, Tennessee and Ruby Anderson of Lafette, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene E. Gray; 5 brothers and 1 sister. Memorial contributions may be made to Affinity Hospice, 2708 S. Medford Drive, Lufkin, Texas 75901. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
