William Webb

Graveside services for William Webb, 74, of Etoile will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Blue Springs Cemetery with Pastor Dale Jackson officiating.

Mr. Webb was born February 8, 1941 in Brush, Colorado to the late Milton James and Hallie (Robertson) Webb and died January 23, 2016 at his residence in Etoile.

Mr. Webb was a resident of Etoile since 1986. He worked for the Texas Forest Service, Brinkerhof and Westburn Oil Companies, OSHA, and RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company. He was a flight instructor and a volunteer firefighter for the Etoile Volunteer Fire Department since 1986. Mr. Webb was the owner of Shirley Creek Marina, President of the Etoile Water Board, and a member of the Shirley Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Webb was loved dearly by many Volunteer Firefighters across the state of Texas.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Lin (Amen) Webb of Etoile; daughter and son-in-law, Kary and Michael Pickett ; grandchildren, Jacob and Lacy Crowder, Kade Ames, Morgan Collums and her children, Tesslin Jo Tucker, and Joey Coffelt; son and daughter-in-law, Curt and June Webb; grandchildren, Dustin, Chase, Linsie, and Amanda Rita; son and daughter-in-law, M.J. and Sherri Webb; grandchildren, Colton, Regan, Devan, and Kason; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Steve and Kay Amen; nephew, Shane; sister-in-law, Jan Amen; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Jane and Joan.

Pallbearers will be M.J. Webb, Curt Webb, Dustin Webb, Chase Webb, Jacob Crowder, Colton Webb, and Shane Amen.

Honorary pallbearer will be Kade Ames.
