Lessie Moses

Graveside services for Lessie Moses, 77, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Poland Cemetery with Brother Clayton McClendon officiating.

Ms. Moses was born February 25, 1938 in Zavalla, Texas to the late James Clarence and Lilly (Pittman) Moses, and died Saturday, January 16, 2016 at her residence.

Ms. Moses was a lifetime resident of Angelina County. She was a Beautician and had worked for various beauty salons in the area. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and feeding birds, especially hummingbirds. Ms. Moses was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughters, Lori Lynn Pittman of Diboll and Sarah Reynolds of Allen; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Vickie Reynolds of Zavalla; eight grandchildren; sister, Georgia Watson of Zavalla; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Michael Reynolds and Richard Pittman; twin brother, Jesse “Bully” Moses; and brothers, James “Nick” Moses, Bailey “Bo” Moses, and Harold “Bloss” Moses.
