Rhonda E. (Taylor) Brown

Funeral services for Rhonda E. (Taylor) Brown, 49, of Lufkin will be held Monday, January 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Harold Hancock and Reagan McClenny officiating. Interment will follow in the Largent Cemetery. Ms. Brown was born October 17, 1966 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in Lufkin, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Ms. Brown was a lifetime resident of Angelina County. She had been employed with DXP Enterprises for 13 years. Ms. Brown loved watching Huntington Middle School Red Devil Football, the Lufkin Panthers, and the Dallas Cowboys. She was a member of the Timberland Drive Church of Christ. Survivors include her son, Blake Brown of Lufkin; mother, May Ellen (Burke) Taylor of Lufkin; father and stepmother, Robert and Rita Taylor of Palestine; brother and sister-in-law, Rob and Paula Taylor of Bullard; stepsisters and brothers-in-law, Kim and Bobby Massey of Plainview and Amy and Jody Parker of Palestine; nieces and nephew, Baylee Taylor, Ronn Matula and Ariel Matula, all of Bullard; cousins and their spouses, Cindy and Randy Walton of Stonewall, Louisiana, Lori and Bill Pryor of Henderson and Russell and Lori Burke of Troup; and Blake’s father, Curtis Brown of Huntington. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ingram and Aline Burke and Willie and Maudene Taylor. Pallbearers will be Larry Davis, Monty Ramsey, Shawn Penn, Dave Duren, Ty Thornton and Steve Rayburn. Honorary pallbearers will be John Adams, Joe Penn, Tim Beamon and Mike Penn.
