Jack Wiggins

Funeral services for Jack Wiggins, 72, of Huntington will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Lufkin Church of Christ with Dub Holland and Rick Caldwell officiating. Ricky Martin will lead congregational singing. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.

Mr. Wiggins was born June 3, 1943 in Angelina County, Texas to the late Ettle and Roseline (Parmer) Wiggins, and died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in a local hospice facility.

Mr. Wiggins was a lifetime resident of Angelina County. He worked in the shipping department of Southland Paper Mill for 33 years. Mr. Wiggins loved working on lawn mowers and small engines, and enjoyed hunting. He was a member of Lufkin Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Wiggins of Huntington; son and daughter-in-law, William Randall and Michelle Palmore of Lufkin; daughter, Stephanie Wiggins of Lufkin; granddaughter, Kendall Palmore of Lufkin; grandson, Gary Dean Ikner of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Leymoin and Jeanie Wiggins of Ida, Louisiana; sister and brother-in-law, Nora and Billy Sharp of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Caldwell, Gene Caldwell, Shane Wiggins, Ricky Clark, Lester Rhoden and Raymond Smith.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
