Margaret Jane (Lamb) Agpalza

Memorial services for Margaret Jane Lamb Agpalza, 56, of Pollok will be held Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the Memorial Baptist Church. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Ms. Agpalza was born August 13, 1959 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Leonard and Fleta (Sheffield) Lamb and died Monday, December 28, 2015 in Houston.

Ms. Agpalza had resided in Pollok most of her life. She was a teacher for 23 years, working for the Wells and Central Independent School Districts. She received her Bachelors’ Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. Margaret enjoyed traveling and going to the beach. She was a fanatic about reading and had a love for music. She was happiest when surrounded by her grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her daughters, Patsy Agpalza of Austin and Larie Agpalza of Grandview; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Sylvia Agpalza of Hillsboro; sister and brother-in-law, Lee and Billy Gilstrap of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Leonard and Lynn Lamb of Pollok; granddaughters, Rachelle Calil of Virginia and Ashley Agpalza of Hillsboro; grandson, Trey Agpalza of Hillsboro; great-grandson, Beckham Calil of Virginia; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, loving friends, and co-workers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rhonda Purcell; sister, Karen Oliver; and brother, Paul Lamb.
