Gene Moore was born August 12, 1946 in Houston, Texas to the late James and Willie Mae (Seymore) Moore and died Saturday, December 26, 2015 in a local hospital after a short battle with cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jimmie Lynn Moore; brother, Tommy Moore; infant grandson, River Dale; and brother-in-law, Bill Proffitt.
