Donnie Diane Smith

Memorial services for Donnie Diane Smith, 53, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the Thomas Crossing United Pentecostal Church with Brother Carlos Martinez officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was born June 12, 1962 in Alachua County, Florida to the late Dalton and Catherine Townsend and died Monday, December 21, 2015 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Smith worked in customer service for Brookshire Brothers and lived for her grandkids.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Jessica Cox and Willie and Gina Cox; daughter, Frances Taylor; grandchildren, Meghan and Nolan Cox, Conner, Chandler and Chessa Taylor, Ryan and Emily Cox; two brothers; two sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Walter “Walt” Smith, Jr.
