Memorial services for Anna Lee Northcutt Seelbach, 76, of Lufkin will be held Monday, December 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Denman Avenue Baptist Church with Reverend Charles Roberts, Dr. John B. Wood, and Brother Jeff Moates officiating. Private family graveside in the Whitehouse Cemetery with Brother Kevin Roy offciating.
Mrs. Seelbach was born August 28, 1939 in Henderson, Texas to the late James Andrew and Pauline (Busby) Hightower and died Saturday, December 12, 2015 in Lufkin.
Mrs. Seelbach retired as a Secretary from the Texas Department of Transportation after 17 years. She loved to read and visit with others. She was very proud of her grandchildren, they, along with her church, were her life. She was a member of the Denman Avenue Baptist Church where she sang in the choir for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Don Seelbach of Lufkin; daughters, Cheryl Arnold and husband Randy of Lufkin, Tami Felts and husband Bruce of Lake Charles, Louisiana; son, Chris Seelbach and wife Kit of Hilton Head, South Carolina; brothers, Richard Hightower and wife Letha of Timpson, and Fred Hightower and wife Brenda of Katy; sister-in-law, Patsy Hightower; grandchildren, Dyan Stanford and spouse Caleb, Katy Arnold, Nolan Arnold, Randy Glenn Arnold, T.J. Arnold and spouse Sherika, Ashley Perry and spouse Christian, Blake Felts and fiance Rachel Ward, Austin Seelbach, and Dean Seelbach; great-grandchildren, Blaine, Dylan, Olivia, and Claire Stanford, Kristen, Kaden, Kylie, Cade, Reggie, and Jaylon Arnold; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Edward Northcutt; brothers, James Hightower and Bennett Hightower; mother and step-father, Pauline and Tom Fowler.
Honorary pallbearers will be Alvis Crain, Eddie Pahal, George Rowe, Doug Maddox, Jerry Backmon, Ron Lusk, Bob Waltman, and Dean Lee.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904 or the Denman Avenue Baptist Church Music Ministry, 1807 E Denman Ave, Lufkin, Texas 75901.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
