Graveside services for Audrey Landrum Davenport, 84, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Knight Cemetery with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating.
Ms. Davenport was born January 22, 1931 in Wells, Texas to the late Alvin “Fatty” and Allie Lorene (Grimes) Landrum, and died Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at her residence.
Ms. Davenport was a graduate of Diboll High School. She was a chef at various restaurants in the Lufkin area, best known for her hamburger steaks and German chocolate cake. Ms. Davenport was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Stacy and Cindy Davenport of Lufkin, Ronnie “Ron” and Mary White of Katy, Mike and Brenda White, Danny White, and Vernon White, all of Lufkin; daughter, Brenda White of New Waverly; fourteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Sunday at Carroway Funeral Home.
