Louise Wells Mcmullen

Graveside services for Louise Wells McMullen, 91, of Pollok will be held Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sand Flat Cemetery with Brother Paul Mettlen officiating.

Mrs. McMullen was born June 23, 1924 in Pollok, Texas to the late John Eli and Florence Bell (Womack) Wells, and died Thursday, November 19, 2015 in a local hospice facility.

Mrs. McMullen was a graduate of Central High School and Pineywoods Business College. She served as postmaster in Keltys and Crosby, Texas for 18 years. Mrs. McMullen had been a member of Redtown Missionary Baptist Church in Pollok since 1943.

Survivors include her faithful daughter-in-law, Jeanine McMullen; grandchildren, Sam Billy McMullen II and wife Stephanie, Correy Rad McMullen and wife Kara, and Shawndra Tobias; great-grandchildren, Sam G. McMullen, Emily Fondren, and Chase Knight, Kady Knight, and Joshlin Paige McMullen; nieces, Barbara Eaves and Fran Hightower; and nephews, Eddie Redd and Jimmy Redd.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 66 years, Sam Billy McMullen; sons, Billy Michael McMullen and Samuel Ronnie McMullen; sisters, Allie Durham and Evie Redd; and niece, Evelyn Gibson.
