Patsy Rieves

Funeral services for Patsy Rieves, 80, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Teague, 420 Walnut Street, Teague, Texas, with Pastor Tony Vinson and Pastor Danny Barrett officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Rieves was born December 16, 1934 in Coolidge, Texas to the late Rex and Elanor (Adams) Riddle, and died Friday, October 9, 2015 in a local hospital.

Formerly of Teague and Pasadena, Mrs. Rieves had recently moved with her husband to Lufkin. She retired from Pasadena ISD and was a member of the Clear Lake United Methodist Church. Mrs. Rieves loved her church, family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Don Rieves of Lufkin; sons and daughter-in-law, Steven and Donna Rieves of Lufkin and Jeff Rieves of Bacliff; grandchildren, Kacy Rieves, Colt Rieves and wife Tiffany, Kent Rieves, Raegan Williamson and husband Kelly, Josh Rieves, Daniel Rieves and Damey Rieves; great-grandchildren, Legend Williamson, Maverick Williamson, Wyatt Rieves and Rhett Rieves; brother, Rex Riddle of Louisiana; sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and Bobby Curry of Weatherford; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Barbara Jordan.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning prior to the services.
